Each morning the children are able access a breakfast bagel, these are free of charge to parents and are freshly cut each day.
Each morning, children will settle quickly and begin their 'flying start' activity for the day.
There will be an activity on the children's desks or the interactive board for the children to complete. These activities focus basic skills that the children need.
Every moment counts and children begin their learning as soon as they enter the classroom.
Children take part in a collective worship each day from 9.00am until 9.20am. Worship takes part as a whole school and also within classrooms. Worship is themed around our school vision and values. This is a space for children to worship collectively, learn about current events, celebrate festivals, share learning, sing songs and be reflective.
Each class has their own individual timetable and cover subjects from across the curriculum.
Pupils also enjoy a 15 minute break each morning.
Children are able to enjoy a packed lunch or a school meal. Full use is made of the playground and facilities. Lunchtime supervisors and sports coaches are trained to support children's play.
Activities such as games, skipping and various play equipment are available. Older pupils support younger children through our 'Play Leader' programme. They encourage children to play and to demonstrate our school values.
During the afternoons, children continue to learn subjects across our broad curriculum. Children in KS1 enjoy a short comfort break in between lessons.
We provide a range of activities and clubs for children to participate in up to 4:30pm. These clubs are an opportunity for children to explore a hobby, particular interest or a talent.
Clubs are organised by teachers, support staff and external providers, they are changed each half term.
Gates for after school club collection will open at 4:25pm and will close at 4:35pm, late collection will be from the Main Entrance.
Friendship
You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.
