Attendance Data

At St Martin's CofE Primary, we strongly believe that good attendance and punctuality are essential in order for pupils to gain the most that they can from their school experience - this includes their attainment, well-being and wider life chances.

Our children enjoy coming to school and this really reflects in our attendance figures. St Martin's children, staff, parents and governors work as a team, and we are very proud of our high attendance levels.

St Martin's achieved a 'National School Attendance award' for our Spring term attendance in 2024. This meant that our attendance was in the top of 25% of similar primary schools in England.

Attendance underpins our school development plan priorities: Motivation, Achievement and Pride.

We abide by the DfE guidance 'Working together to improve school attendance' and we carry out ongoing work with our families to continue to support and improve attendance further.

At the end of the 2024 / 2025 academic year our whole school attendance was above the national average.
