Harvest and Our Food Bank Donation
Today marks the end of our week of Harvest celebrations.
We have invited parents in for our worship, we have sung Harvest songs and thanked God for the food we eat. We have been appreciating how lucky we are to have access to many types of food due to the hard work of farmers, food distributors and our parents for providing it.
We have been taught that not everyone finds it easy to afford food, so our Harvest donations this year have been collected by the Black Country Food Bank, who will distribute it to local food banks, including the Tipton one.
Thanks to the generosity of our families and staff, we collected 159KG of food and 16.2KG of toiletries, enough to provide 318 meals and 16 toiletry packs!
