Year 5 European Astro Pi Challenge 2024/25
On a Friday afternoon, Mr Wood has been working with the Year 5 children on a VERY special mission!
They have been learning how to code, and more importantly, our code is going to be SENT TO SPACE!
Our code will be run on the International Space Station on their Raspberry Pi. Children have designed an image to display on a 8x8 LED display and programmed the lights to light up with specific RGB colours that have been coded into variables!
They’ve been really excited by this and Mr Wood has said that it’s been brilliant fun to work with them on the project.
