What is it?
The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. Pupil premium funding is available to: local authority maintained schools, including special schools and pupil referral units.
Schools receive PE and sport premium funding based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6. Schools must use the funding to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport they offer.

How much money does the school receive?
- 2013 – 2014 the school received £53,368 for Pupil Premium.
- 2014 – 2015 the school received £68,900 for Pupil Premium.
